He is deputy director of infection disease department of Shulan (Hangzhou) hospital, deputy director of cirrhosis center of Shulan (Hangzhou) hospital, Chief physician. In 2010 and 2014, he visited the medical school of Kumamoto University, Japan, University College London and the affiliated Royal liberty hospital. In March 2015,he began to serve as a master's supervisor of Ningbo University. He has published more than 50 papers in well-known academic journals such as Hepatology, Journal of Hepatology, gut, liver international, Clin Pharmacol ther,including 31 SCI papers.

He served as Vice Chairman of Youth Committee of liver disease branch of Zhejiang Medical Association, National member of National Collaborative Group on Difficult and Severe Liver Diseases.
