Establishment: Founded in April 2016, the department is a key specialty of the hospital. It currently employs 16 medical professionals, including 1 chief physician and 4 attending physicians, and has 30 inpatient beds.
Core Focus: Specializing in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, peripheral neuropathies, and other neurological conditions. The department provides a full range of medical services, from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation.
Scope of Diagnosis and Treatment
1. Common and Frequently Occurring Diseases: Cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, headaches and dizziness, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, peripheral neuropathies, etc.
2. Complex and Severe Conditions: Motor neuron disease, myasthenia gravis, optic neuritis, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune encephalitis, refractory epilepsy, etc.
3. Specialized Services: 24-hour stroke center consultation, cognitive function screening and assessment, neuroelectrophysiological testing (dynamic EEG, electromyography), transcranial Doppler ultrasound, etc.
