Establishment: The Department of psychiatry is another specialty at Shulan Hospital, established in July 2016. It currently has 21 medical professionals, including 2 chief physicians and 1 attending physician. The department has 32 inpatient beds.
Core Focus: The department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders, including anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, Alzheimer's disease, organic mental disorders, adolescent mood disorders, schizophrenia, substance-related disorders, stress-related disorders, and psychosomatic disorders. It offers comprehensive medical services for patients, covering the entire process from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and psychological care.
Scope of Diagnosis and Treatment
1. Common and Frequently Occurring Diseases: Such as anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, Alzheimer's disease, organic mental disorders, schizophrenia, substance-related mental disorders, and other mental health conditions.
2. Complex and Severe Conditions: Such as treatment-resistant schizophrenia, treatment-resistant depression, and other challenging psychiatric disorders.
3. Specialized Services: Such as chip implants to aid alcohol cessation in alcohol-dependent patients.
