Vascular-Interventional Department integrates the functions of vascular surgery and interventional radiology. As a professional branch in the field of internal，surgery and radiology, it involves a wide range of areas, strong expertise, and high technical content. The patient's disease risk and surgical treatment risk are very high. At present, traditional surgical operations can no longer meet the development of contemporary medicine and the needs of patients' life-saving treatment, and the concept of minimally invasive has penetrated into various medical professional fields and the hearts of patients. thus, interventional endovascular minimally invasive treatment came into being. With the rapid development of medical technology, minimally invasive surgery has become an academic hotspot, important technical means and direction of development in the new professional field.
Our department is equipped with advanced equipment, including filips alluraxper FD20 DSA, force dual source CT, 3.0T and 1.5T MRI, Siemens color Doppler ultrasound, PET-CT, etc
Scope of Diagnosis and Treatment
Tumor intervention: transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (cTACE, dTACE) for liver cancer, tumor ablation therapy, tumor radioactive seed implantation therapy.
Emergency intervention: Interventional embolization therapy for hemoptysis, interventional therapy for massive gastrointestinal bleeding (such as TIPS via internal jugular vein intrahepatic portosystemic shunt, percutaneous transhepatic gastroesophageal variceal embolization, interventional embolization therapy for bleeding from gastrointestinal ulcers, vascular malformations, tumors, etc.), Interventional embolization therapy for rupture and bleeding of parenchymal organs such as liver, spleen and kidney; interventional embolization therapy for traumatic bleeding, etc.
Other vascular and non-vascular interventions: CT guided puncture and localization, biopsy and ablation of pulmonary nodules, Percutaneous hepatobiliary interventional therapy, interventional embolization treatment of prostate hyperplasia, interventional embolization treatment of uterine fibroids and adenomyosis, adrenal vein blood sampling, inferior petrosal sinus blood sampling, lipiodol lymphography.
