Dr. Cao is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of various blood diseases including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, immune thrombocytopenia, especially in the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma and thrombocytopenia in what she has rich clinical experience.

Dr. Lihong Cao has been engaged in clinical work of hematology for 20 years. Mentored by the Professor Jin Jie, a well-known expert in hematology and a director of the hematology department of Zhejiang University, she completed her PhD degree in hematology in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. She published more than 10 research articles in SCI and national journals. She is a principal investigator of one Traditional Chinese medicine study, and participated in a provincial natural subject.
